Over the weekend while talking with friends who have visited the blog, we realized a lot of people don't know a whole lot when it comes to blogs. We didn't either until a few weeks ago. We just wanted to share a few of the basics with you in case you are new to blogging and don't understand some of the lingo that gets thrown around.
1. What Does It Mean to be a Follower?
1. What Does It Mean to be a Follower?
Do you have a favorite blog and want to let the author and readers know that you are a fan? Well now you can do that and more with the Blogger Following feature! There are several ways to become a follower of a blog. One of the easiest ways is to visit a blog and click on the "Follow" button: You'll then see a popup window with the options to either follow publicly or privately: Select how you'd like to follow the blog, then click the "Follow this blog" button. It is that simple, you are now a follower of the blog! When you become a follower of a blog, the blog will also be added to your Reading List on your Blogger dashboard
2. What Does It Mean to Subscribe?
2. What Does It Mean to Subscribe?
By adding your email address, you will receive our blogposts in your in box whenever we post something new. It is another way to get the info on our blog. If you do not read any other blogs and want to stay up to date on our blog, we recommend this option vs becoming a follower.
3. How and Where Do I Comment?
To comment on our blog, you look for the word ‘Comment’ under each blog post, and then click on it. A text box appears for you to write your comment and post it when you are finished. You will also be able to see other comments as well. We welcome you to comment on our posts to provide any feedback that you may have.
We hope this information is helpful!
