There are so many toy options out there for you to choose. I always try to find an economical option for toys because it seems that Victoria looses interest after a few weeks. Well not so with this toy. She has been playing with this toy since she was 5 months old, and she still loves it! She will crawl up to it, and get so excited as she plays with it. It's as if she is playing with it for the first time. So if you are looking for a toy that will last, provide educational benefit, and entertain your little one, then this is the toy for you. Fisher Price Silly Town

A friend of ours got this toy out for Victoria at a playdate she hosted. Victoria really enjoyed it, and a few weeks later I found the toy at a wonderful price. When we got home, and I opened the toy to set it up for Victoria, her eyes lit up! She absolutely loves playing with this toy. Since playing with this toy Victoria has learned "to dance." It is so hilarious that my husband and I still get tickled watching her play with it. This toy can be found right now at Toys R Us on clearance for $20.98....an absolutely fabulous price as well!

BABYBJÖRN Soft Bib

Okay...so another fabulous find from my sister-in-law.  We love this bib!  At first I was not using it a whole lot  since Hannah was so small and the bib was a bit bulky on her, but now that she is getting bigger this bib is the greatest.  This bib is made of safe, high-quality PVC-free, BPA-free plastic that retains its shape while staying flexible enough for comfortable wear.  The bib attaches by snapping together and is adjustable so the bib is able to grow with your child.   The  deep, wide front pocket catches food before it becomes a mess.  Now that Hannah is feeding herself more, she is able to dig into the pocket and retrieve her dropped food.  It is so cute to watch her do this.  On a grosser note, it is also great on the occasion when your child gags on a piece of food and ends up throwing up....the pocket catches it all and makes clean up much easier.  The bib cleans up quickly with soap and water.  I highly recommend this bib for all feeding occasions.

Parking Pal Magnet

Check out this fabulous find!  I heard about these first from my sister-in-law, Shannon, and then saw them on another website.  The purpose of the parking pal magnet is to help busy parents keep their child out of harm's way while tending to other tasks in the parking lot.

Incredibly plush and oh so soft!  We love our stroller blanket from Pottery Barn Kids.  This is a great gift for any new baby.  The blankets are so soft and hold up wash after wash.  The blankets are 30"x 40".  This blanket is $39.00 and can be personalized for an additional $7.00.

Sassy Touch & Talk Laptop

I cannot say enough great things about this toy! I found this toy when Victoria was only 3 months old thinking that it would be great to promote tummy time. It worked wonderfully for that, but now she continues to enjoy it. It has three different modes: musical notes, rhymes, and colors in English and Spanish. Each button plays a different sound depending upon the mode it is in. Victoria also loves to look at herself in the mirror and give herself kisses! It is so hilarious to watch. It folds up nicely like a real laptop does! Totally a fabulous find! You can find this toy at www.walmart.com for $12.56. It can also be found at Kohl's, but it is higher in price.

Leap Frog Shapes & Sharing Picnic Basket

This was a gift that a dear friend gave to Victoria recently, and Victoria absolutely loves this toy. She enjoys taking the different objects out of the basket, and the picnic basket teaches sounds, shapes, and colors. It also plays music as well. This will be a wonderful toy that will "grow" with Victoria as she learns more and more about what it says and does. I highly recommend this toy! You can purchase it at Toys R Us for $21.99.

LeapFrog Fridge Farm

"You put a cow in the front, you put a duck in the back.  You get a cow, duck!"  These are the words I usually hear in my kitchen.  Hannah rarely makes a match at this point.  We love this toy and use it daily.  This toy keeps Hannah occupied while we eat dinners most evenings and any time I am working in the kitchen.  The toy is great because it teaches kids all about animals, as it plays learning songs, fun facts, and animal sounds. Toddlers can make up to 25 combinations with this magnetic puzzle, and it can be played with on the refrigerator or floor.   Hannah loves the music that plays from the fridge farm too.  She usually sits clapping as the music plays.  She is a fan of all 5 of Farmer Tad's banjo tunes.  

The toy's resilient construction withstands wear and tear and holds up nicely to rough child play.  Hannah manages to pull it of the refrigerator multiple times a day and the toy still looks brand new.  With this toy's open-ended format toddlers can create any hilarious combination they choose. Sounds Like Learning CD

I absolutely love this CD by Discovery Toys! It has 20 quiet time songs that teach the alphabet, manners, Spanish, and many other early learning skills. I use this CD in the car and at home throughout the day. It is a wonderful transition into nap time, and each song is very unique. If Victoria is fussy, I can play this CD and she will quickly calm down. This is definitely not the average childrens' CD! I absolutely love it! The Sassy Xylophone

This a super fabulous little toy that is so great for when you are at home or on the go. Victoria started playing with this around 5 months, and she still enjoys it...although now she will move onto another toy rather quickly! Each "key" plays a different little tune once pressed, and each one also has varying textures for your little one to explore. The multi-colored rings on the black and white handle make a fun little noise when shaken. Victoria will still giggle at this. It can be found at www.toysrus.com for only $6.99.

This is such a wonderful children's toy. My 4 and 6 year old neighbors absolutely love this puzzle. Victoria has fun with it as well seeing the colors and banging the different pieces together. This was a hand me down from my sister-in-law and I love it.  We put this on Hannah's crib once she started rolling and moving in her crib more.  Now every night when we lay her down we can rest easy because we know she is safe in her crib and don't have to worry about her arms or legs getting caught in the rungs.    The bumper is available in white, brown, ecru, pink, green and blue.

Pat The Bunny

Looking for a darling book for your little one's easter basket this year?  This is the perfect little book.  It is an oldie but still a goody.

Hannah loves this book!  I think her favorite page is the page she gets to play peek-a-boo with Paul.  There is a little piece of fabric on the book that she gets to lift up to find Paul's face.  The page where she gets to smell the flowers is great too.  The page actually has a floral scent to it.  This is such a cute book!  We enjoy it every time we read it.

Multi-sensory Ball-Tangiball by Discovery

This is such a great toy! It is made by Discovery toys, and while it may just appear as just another ball....it is not! For some reason, children are magnetized to it. It stimulates the senses with its different texture, and it even has a vanilla scent. Victoria loves to push the ball back and forth between the two of us even now, and she loves to kick the ball to see where it will roll. Victoria prefers this type of ball over any other ball so I know that it is a winner! A super fabulous find. It can be purchased for $12.50 via Discovery toys.

Gigi God's Little Princess Book

"Gigi, God's Little Princess" is absolutely one of my favorite books and children's series. It is about a little girl who just knew that she had always been a princess, but she couldn't quite figure out where her castle and, most importantly, crown jewels were. With the help of Lord Fluffy, her ever-loyal cat, she is determined to get to the bottom of this dilemma. In the end, Gigi learns the most important and greatest of all life's lessons! Tiny Diner Portable Placemat

I absolutely love this product. I just used it for the first time while I was visiting my family in Alabama. The portable placemat has suction cups on the bottom to prevent your child from moving it around and playing with it, and it folds neatly into the little catch tray that hangs from the table as shown in the picture. It's a wonderful way to provide a clean place for your child to eat. It wipes clean very easily, and once folded it is so small that is takes up very little room in your diaper bag...which is important when you have so many other things to travel with.
